Welcome to the Smoke-Free Household and Parent program! (Smoke-Free HOPE)

Smoke-Free HOPE™ is the Smoke-Free Household and Parent Program providing smoking cessation to pregnant people who smoke tobacco and want to quit during their pregnancy.

Our state-funded program serves San Bernardino and Riverside Counties and we have designed our program to help pregnant people quit smoking tobacco and maintain a smoke-free home for the parent and the newborn. Our team consists of physicians, nurses, community health workers, behavioral scientists, and public health professors who have been working for decades to improve the pre-natal and post-natal outcomes in the Inland Empire.

Smoke-Free HOPE is a research study designed to help pregnant people quit smoking. It provides support for 8 weeks, helping them access resources and offering behavioral support to quit smoking. For some trial participants, we will work with the pregnant person and all members of their household.

Enrollment is easy and available from June 15 to pregnant people completing pre-natal care at Loma Linda University Health and coming soon to Riverside University Health system. Please complete our form below for more information about enrolling or referring a patient to Smoke-Free HOPE.
